Detroit Lions wide receiver caught five balls for 67 yards and a touchdown in the first half of Week 12's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Nate Burleson cooks up a TD in return, fantasy value bounces back
Nate Burleson got back on track in a hurry against the Bucs on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

After his five-yard score, he did a TD celebration about carrying a pizza, which is probably the best of the season. Back in September, Burleson broke his arm trying to save pizzas from falling off his passenger seat and this is his first game back. Here’s the GIF and it’s definitely worth a look.
Before the injury, he averaged 6.3 catches per game for 80 yards, so this isn’t a shocking development. to see him get back in the swing of thing quickly The Bucs also have allowed a lot of big games to receivers in the slot, so he’s not likely going to be this good.
Fantasy impact: He’s not going to be this good, but he is definitely on the radar as a pickup in PPR leagues. The Lions have a nice schedule the rest of the way and if Burleson can get eight targets, he might be able to hold up value as a WR3 even in standard leagues.
