The Tampa Bay Buccaneers might have found their new quarterback. Rookie Mike Glennon led the team to its third straight victory Sunday, with a season-high passer rating in the progress, as the Bucs beat the Detroit Lions, 24-21.
Mike Glennon has another good game for Buccaneers, fantasy owners
The rookie quarterback continued his strong play Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Glennon completed 14-of-21 passes Sunday for 247 yards, with two touchdowns and no interceptions. In addition to a season-best passer rating of 138.4, Glennon's 11.76 yards-per-attempt average was also a season-best. Both of Glennon's touchdown passes went to wide receiver Tiquan Underwood -- one for seven yards, and one for 85 -- as the Buccaneers pulled themselves out of last place in the NFC South.
Fantasy impact: Glennon has averaged 13.875 fantasy points per start this season, which ranks him just above Tom Brady among quarterbacks. Take out his Week 4 start, which was his lone outing before the team's Week 5 bye, and Glennon is averaging more than 15 points, 13th in the NFL. He's been a strong fantasy player even without running back Doug Martin, running back Mike James and wide receiver Mike Williams.
The Buccaneers play several strong defenses down the stretch, including the Carolina Panthers, San Francisco 49ers, St. Louis Rams, and New Orleans Saints, so this might have been the 2013 high-water mark for Glennon, but he certainly looks like a player the Buccaneers can count on for their future.
