Detroit Lions wide receiver Nate Burleson wasted no time getting back into the swing of things Sunday, scoring his first touchdown of the season early in the second quarter of his first game since Week 3. The production came in a 24-21 Lions loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Nate Burleson returns from injury with a big game for fantasy owners
The Lions wide receiver had a big game in his return from injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

Burleson, who missed the last eight weeks with a broken arm, had his best fantasy day of the season, racking up 13 fantasy points. He caught seven passes for 77 yards and a score in the game, and was targeted 10 times.
Fantasy impact: The Lions had no luck developing a strong No. 2 receiver in Burleson's absence. Even after missing seven games, Burleson is still third among Lions wide receivers in yardage, with Kris Durham ahead of him by less than 100 yards despite being healthy all season. Calvin Johnson is still the Lions' best receiver, always and forever, but a healthy and productive Burleson would give opposing defenses something else to consider. As Johnson gets double teamed, Burleson could find himself with room to move going forward.
