Danny Woodhead finds the end zone twice for fantasy owners vs. Chiefs
The Chargers’ pass-catching running back cashed in twice during an important divisional win on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

The pair of scores now puts Woodhead's season total at seven, which matches his career high, set in 2012 with the New England Patriots. Woodhead also chipped in 70 total yards with 25 coming on the ground and logging the other 45 from four catches. Woodhead is now on pace for 1,069 total yards from scrimmage and 85 receptions.
Fantasy Spin: Before his multiple-score effort on Sunday, Woodhead had crashed back to earth after a productive first half of the season. His yardage had diminished since Ryan Mathews' emergence on the ground, as Woodhead totaled just 81 yards over his previous two games. However, Mathews left the game with a hamstring injury which paved the way for more snaps. If Mathews is slated to miss additional time, Woodhead's value spikes, especially in PPR leagues. He is firmly entrenched as an RB2 in leagues of that format.
