Entering Sunday, Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill had scored between 9 and 16 fantasy points in every game this season. Exiting Sunday, he has scored between 9 and 17 fantasy points in every game this season. The quarterback's performance wasn't enough, though, as the Dolphins lost to the Carolina Panthers, 20-16.
Ryan Tannehill nears season-high yardage for fantasy owners
The Dolphins quarterback had his best fantasy day of the season Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Tannehill completed 28 passes for 310 yards Sunday, throwing one touchdown pass and one interception. He also added 36 rushing yards on four carries. Tannehill's touchdown pass came on a 53-yard completion to wide receiver Mike Wallace in the first quarter.
Fantasy impact: Tannehill basically was who he is Sunday -- a mediocre quarterback with a slightly-above-mediocre ceiling. He’s unlikely to have many full-on fantasy implosions as a quarterback, but he’s probably even less likely to single-handedly win a fantasy matchup for his owners. If you have a great team otherwise, you could probably do worse than Tannehill, but you could almost certainly do better. He’s a low-end QB2, with little reason to think he’ll fluctuate much from that spot.
