St. Louis Rams wide receiver Tavon Austin caught two passes for 39 yards and rushed the ball once for a 65-yard touchdown in the team's 42-21 win over the Chicago Bears. Austin's touchdown was his fifth of the season.
Tavon Austin continues fantasy frenzy with limited opportunities
The Rams rookie wide receiver managed to produce with limited touches against the Bears in Week 12. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Austin led the team in targets along with tight end Jared Cook. They each saw five passes.
Austin’s touchdown now means that he has four out of his five scores in the last two weeks. The Rams and fantasy owners alike know that he is a special player with speed for days. He has the talent to be a No. 1 receiver for years to come.
As is often the case when you put a rookie wide receiver in the hands of mediocre quarterbacks though, production can be rather spotty at times.
Austin has personified the meaning of boom or bust this season. Six weeks into the season, he was being called a bust, yet now he’s definitely booming.
His looks will no doubt be limited against a tough San Francisco 49ers defense next week, but fantasy owners will no doubt hope for big things from Austin in Week 13 nonetheless.
