Martellus Bennett finds fantasy pay dirt against Rams
The Bears tight end scored his fifth touchdown of the season against the Rams in Week 12. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Bennett’s fantasy owners have to be happy with his touchdown on Sunday. He hadn’t scored in seven of the team’s previous eight games.
With rookie Alshon Jeffery and perennial Pro Bowl pass catcher Brandon Marshall leading the way, Bennett is mainly just a safety valve in the Bears offense. That's especially true considering running back Matt Forte is one of the better pass-catching rushers in the NFL.
Bennett should see the same kind of action in Week 13 against the Minnesota Vikings. It should result in the same old story. Marshall and Jeffery will get the chance to exploit not-so-good cornerbacks and Bennett might pick up the third-down target and goal-line look.
He’s not an elite tight end, but Bennett is safely nestled in the second tier fantasy wise. He doesn’t get enough targets to be top-notch, but he’ll give you the odd touchdown.
