Chicago Bears quarterback Josh McCown completed 36 passes for 352 yards and two touchdowns in the team's 42-21 loss to the St. Louis Rams in Week 12. McCown also threw an interception and lost a fumble in the contest.
Josh McCown big fantasy day despite playing catch up
The Bears quarterback threw for a high volume trying to catch up to the Rams in Week 12. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: McCown's 36 completions in the game were the most he's had since returning to the NFL in 2011. With teammate Jay Cutler (ankle, groin) banged up at multiple points in the season, McCown has filled in nicely.
He’s proven himself fantasy worthy in deeper leagues. That can be largely attributed not only to McCown’s stat line, but also the fact he has a good rapport with receiver Brandon Marshall.
While some out there are clamoring that McCown should have a chance to start over Cutler, Cutler is probably still the team’s go-to guy under center. The cast on his left ankle has been removed now, so he’s got to be close to returning.
That said, it remains to be seen who coach Marc Trestman will decide to start when the Bears take on the Minnesota Vikings in Week 13.
