Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte carried the ball 16 times for 77 yards in the team's 42-21 loss to the St. Louis Rams in Week 12. Forte also caught seven passes for an additional 40 yards in the contest.
Matt Forte consistent in fantasy terms despite rough day
The Bears quarterback threw for a high volume trying to catch up to the Rams in Week 12. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Forte has now gone over 100 total yards in five of his last six games. His fantasy numbers on Sunday were especially valuable in point per reception leagues as is always the case.
His stats don't necessarily tell the whole story though. Forte had a rough day. He had not one but two touchdowns overturned in the game and he saw teammate Michael Bush take goal-line carries.
Over the long run Forte’s troubles against the Rams shouldn’t be a major concern for his fantasy owners. He’s versatile and very valuable to the Bears offense no matter who is playing quarterback.
His 4.8 yards per carry against the Rams is nothing to shake a stick at and he’s still a must-start going forward, particularly in deeper fantasy leagues.
