Chicago Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery caught four passes for 42 yards in the team's 42-21 loss to the St. Louis Rams in Week 12. Jeffery was targeted eight times in the game.
Alshon Jeffery posts fantasy flop, unable to get going Sunday
The Bears wide receiver caught only half of his eight targets for just 42 yards in a blowout loss to the Rams in Week 12. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Jeffery now has one touchdown in his last six games.
It’s a bit disappointing he couldn’t produce more against the Rams. Although St. Louis does have a solid secondary unit, the Bears were playing catchup for most of the contest. Quarterback Josh McCown threw for 352 yards in the game, so one would think Jeffery might have gotten a bigger piece of the pie.
All of that said, Jeffery is still getting a healthy number of targets week to week, so he’ll still be a solid fantasy play moving forward.
Overall he's been one of the great surprises of the 2013 fantasy football season. Coming up in Week 13, the Bears face the Vikings, who rarely stop any passing game and tend to give up their share of big plays. Jeffery will be a must-start particularly in deeper leagues for that game.
