It was tough sledding for Alfred Morris and the rest of the Redskins offense on Monday night. We break down the fantasy implications.

Morris finished with 52 yards on 14 carries, and did not receive his usual workload as the Redskins could not sustain drives. The Redskins remained committed to the ground despite falling into another insurmountable deficit, but there wasn’t much room for the ground game to capitalize versus a 49ers defense that had an answer to everything the Redskins did on offense.
Fantasy Spin: It's also worth mentioning Roy Helu's growing involvement (seven carries), especially in the two-minute offense, but Morris remains the Redskins workhorse despite that. With the struggles in the passing game as Jordan Reed and Leonard Hankerson battle injuries, there has subsequently been a noticeable lean toward the ground game. Because there is room for Helu to get involved doesn't mean that Morris is in any danger of becoming less fantasy-relevant. Because everything the Redskins do on offense is based off of the ground game, and Morris remains a reliable RB2 in Week 13 versus the New York Giants.
