Detroit Lions wide receiver Nate Burleson was a hot waiver pickup after last week, but he didn't do anything on Thanksgiving. Burleson was held without a catch in the Lions' 40-10 win over the Green Bay Packers. He was targeted just one time.
Nate Burleson held quiet in fantasy, Joique Bell impresses
The Lions had a blowout win on Thanksgiving, but Nate Burleson disappointed owners with a goose egg. We break down the fantasy implications.

The Lions gashed the Packers in the running game all day, and they just stuck to what was working. Joique Bell was a big benefactor, rushing 19 times for 94 yards and a touchdown, and adding 34 yards on three catches.
Fantasy impact: It was another good performance from Bell. He remains a risky play due to splitting carries with Reggie Bell but has legitimate RB2 upside in Detroit's high-powered offense. As for Burleson, it's unclear why he was left off the stat sheet after grabbing seven catches for 77 yards last week. The Lions moved the ball at will against the Packers, but Burleson wasn't involved for some reason. We should have more clarity on Burleson's usage once the snap counts are released. He still has WR3 appeal against the Eagles' paper-thin secondary in Week 14.
