Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Golden Tate was billed as a sleeper candidate in fantasy before the season. He hasn't quite lived up to those expectations, recording just 32 receptions for 439 yards and three touchdowns in eight games. The Seahawks have struggled in the passing game, leaving Tate a shaky week-to-week option.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 9: Golden Tate
Golden Tate has a chance to see more action with Sidney Rice out. Will he help fantasy owners this week against the Bucs?

Things might be looking up for him, though. Sidney Rice is done for the year with a torn ACL, making Tate the new No. 1 receiver. He had his best performance of the year against the St. Louis Rams, recording 93 yards and two touchdowns.
Fantasy impact: The Seahawks host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at home this week. Tate remains hard to trust on a weekly basis, but he has a chance to get good numbers against a dysfunctional Bucs team. Things depend on whether or not the Bucs finally unleash Darrelle Revis and put him on Seattle's best receiver left. If your team is depleted by bye weeks or injuries, Tate is worth rolling the dice on as a WR3.
