Fantasy football projections, Week 9: Saints vs. Jets featuring Drew Brees, Jimmy Graham and Geno Smith
We break down the Week 9 matchup between the New Orleans Saints and the New York Jets.

New Orleans Saints
Quarterback Drew Brees threw five touchdown passes against the Buffalo Bills in Week 8 and looked to be in top form. Though the Jets have a secondary unit that is superior to that of the Bills, Brees should have no trouble connecting with his many weapons in New York. He was able to target 10 different players against Buffalo, and the emergence of Kenny Stills as a deep threat could pay dividends in Week 9. Having Lance Moore back for the second week in a row as a familiar target should make Brees comfortable as well.
When the Saints march closer to the end zone, Brees will look to tight end Jimmy Graham to put points up on the board. Despite dealing with a foot injury and playing a limited role against the Bills, two of Graham's three catches in Week 8 went for touchdowns. Although he was listed as questionable last week, the Saints' Pro Bowl tight end is listed as probable this week, which means he should be in line for more catches against the Jets.
New York Jets
There's no doubt the Jets will be in a tough situation against the high-flying offense of the Saints in Week 9. That could mean a lot of fantasy points for quarterback Geno Smith. Smith played an atrocious game against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 8, throwing two interceptions, both of which were returned for touchdowns. Coach Rex Ryan benched his rookie gunslinger in the fourth quarter, so at the very least Smith should be well rested against the Saints.
Not all of the blame for the Jets' blowout loss to the Bengals is on Smith's shoulders though. He's dealing with a plethora of injuries to his receiving corps, which leaves the likes of Jeremy Kerley and David Nelson as his top two options these days. Nelson has back-to-back 80-yard plus efforts to his name after signing with the team in the middle of the season. He hurt his quad in Thursday's practice though and his status is in doubt, leaving Kerley as the team's best option at receiver. Kerley caught three passes for just 27 yards against the Bengals in Week 8.
