Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin has been shut down and is not expected to play in Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings. He did not practice all week due to his troublesome hamstring injury.
Miles Austin injury update: Terrance Williams picks up more fantasy value
Miles Austin (hamstring) has been shut down by the Cowboys. We break down the fantasy implications.

Austin has some of the weakest hamstrings in the NFL and it’s probably a good idea for the team to shut him down. After 10 catches in Week 1, he’s had just five since and has not been involved in the offense.
Meanwhile, Terrance Williams has come on in his rookie season and the Cowboys have gained loads of confidence in him as the Z receiver opposite Dez Bryant. He's been productive in every week since he took over as the starter and the prevailing thought is that the starting job is his even once Austin is back.
Fantasy impact: It’s pretty simple in the case of Austin: Cut him. He can’t stay healthy and he’ll be the fourth option at best upon his return. As for Williams, fantasy owners can view him as a high-upside guy, especially this week against a weak Vikings secondary.
