New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola is listed as probable to face the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. He was limited in practice all week with a groin issue.
Danny Amendola injury update: Fantasy value still volatile
Danny Amendola is going to play on Sunday, but for how long? We break down the fantasy implications.

Amendola has been dealing with a groin injury since the preseason and it’s probably something he’ll have to manage all season long. After a 10-catch Week 1, Amendola totaled just nine catches in his other three games.
On top of the groin problems, Amendola missed time with a concussion earlier this year. The Patriots took a chance on the injury-prone receiver and hoped he was going to take over for Wes Welker.
The skill set is there for Amendola, but the durability has never been there. He’s broken bones, sprained ligaments, pulled muscle and done just about anything else that can keep him from the field in his career.
Fantasy impact: The good news is that Amendola is as healthy as he’s ever been. Chances are that fantasy owners took a big gamble on him, so this is the time to pounce and put him in your lineup. Julian Edelman isn’t worth starting with Amendola back.
