New York Jets receiver Jeremy Kerley suffered an elbow injury in the second half and will not return. He finished the game with one catch for one yard.
Jeremy Kerley out for game with elbow injury, Jets lacking firepower as fantasy offense
Jeremy Kerley will not return to the game on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Kerley went to the ground with his arm extended and a Saints player caused his elbow to be hyperextended and forced the joint into an awkward position. The team will likely re-evaluate him later tonight or tomorrow to check for sprained ligaments.
Kerley was becoming a popular option on third down for rookie quarterback Geno Smith. He operated out of the slot of the most part and ranks first on the team in receiving yards and receptions.
Fantasy impact: The Jets have been looking to David Nelson more these days and Nelson saw 12 targets in last week's game. So far today, they've run some plays for tight end Zach Sudfeld and the Jets don't have trust in Geno to get the ball down the field. The bottom line is that the Jets are just going to run the ball more and their passing attack will be more horizontal.
