Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Riley Cooper had a huge first half Sunday, catching two touchdown passes. Cooper led the way as the Eagles went out to a 28-13 hafltime lead over the Oakland Raiders.
Riley Cooper scores twice in the first half Sunday, rewarding fantasy trust
The Eagles wide receiver scored twice in three minutes of game time. We break down the fantasy implications.

Cooper caught only three passes, but two of them went for touchdowns and the other set up a touchdown pass to tight end Brent Celek. Cooper’s three scores went for 63 and 17 yards, with his third going for 42. The receiver’s two touchdowns came in a span of less than three minutes early in the second quarter.
Fantasy impact: Cooper had only one big game entering Sunday, and that full game was inferior to his first half of Week 9. He had four catches for 120 yards and a touchdown in Week 6 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
That game, though, came on the heels of no catches and no targets in Week 5, and Sunday’s game comes after two catches and 13 yards a week ago. Other than these two games and 88 yards in Week 7, Cooper has had a poor season, with no games over 30 receiving yards.
In a desperation play, Cooper can be a flex play going forward, but he’d be hard to rely on for anything more than that, though it’s nice to see that he has this upside.
