Coming off a big rushing game Monday night against the Seattle Seahawks (and a resultant ankle injury), St. Louis Rams running back Zac Stacy proved it was no fluke Sunday, scoring two touchdowns as the Rams fell to the Tennessee Titans, 28-21.
Zac Stacy has huge fantasy day in Rams loss
The St. Louis rookie was enormously productive despite being an injury question mark all week. We break down the fantasy implications.

Stacy ran the ball 27 times for 127 yards and two scores in the game, adding six receptions for 51 yards. His 178 all-purpose yards were almost 50 more than his previous career high, set in that Monday night game. Stacy’s scores came on 3- and 9-yard runs in the second and third quarters, respectively.
Fantasy impact: After spending all week on injury reports, worrying fantasy owners, Stacy proved himself to be a viable player with his huge game. It took the Rams a while to settle on Stacy over other running backs like Daryl Richardson, Isaiah Pead and Benny Cunningham, but there's certainly no reason now to think he won't hold the No. 1 gig for the rest of the year, barring injury.
With Kellen Clemens being unimpressive at quarterback, and not much to the Rams receiving corps, opposing defenses will start game-planning for Stacy specifically, which could hinder his performance. He’s still pretty clearly an RB2 at worst at this point, and could be an RB1 for several teams.
