Garcon finished with seven catches for 172 yards and routinely gained huge chunks of yardage during several key situations. Quarterback Robert Griffin III was bailed out by his No. 1 receiver with a couple of acrobatic one-handed catches, and also connected on a 17-yard dart that put the Redskins inside the Chargers’ 10-yard line in overtime. It was for good reason that Garcon led the team with 11 targets on the afternoon.
Fantasy Spin: Garcon was due for a huge game after being targeted frequently versus the Chargers' bend-and-not break defense, and that's just what fantasy owners got. Garcon is now on pace for a robust 108 catches for 1,368 yards on the season, which would be career-highs for the sixth-year receiver. Next week versus a porous Minnesota Vikings pass defense, fantasy owners can comfortably place Garcon in their WR1 slots.
