Despite a persistent ankle injury that kept him out a week ago, Buffalo Bills running back C.J. Spiller ran wild Sunday. The team's other main running back, Fred Jackson, also nearly reached 100 yards as the Bills fell to the Kansas City Chiefs 23-13.

Despite injury concerns, Spiller led the way with 116 yards. We break down the fantasy implications.

Spiller ran the ball 12 times for 116 yards Sunday, adding two receptions for 39 yards. Jackson had 77 rushing yards on 16 carries and caught the ball once for 22 yards. The 116 rushing and 155 all-purpose yards were both season highs for Spiller. Jackson, meanwhile, was less productive but still had value.
Fantasy impact: Early in the week, it looked like Spiller might not play at all in Sunday’s game, but by the end of the week, it was clear he would play. Even then, it seemed like the Bills might limit the oft-injured back’s touches, which could hurt his value. They did limit him, with only 12 rushing attempts, but a yards-per-carry average of almost ten kept Spiller valuable.
Jackson carried it more than Spiller, and was the team’s chain-mover, but 99 all-purpose yards are helpful nonetheless. These two are sharing time, but it looks like both will have value all season long.
