For the first time all season, Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles was held under 100 total combined yards Sunday. That said, he still managed 96 yards as the Chiefs continued their undefeated season, getting to 9-0 with a 23-13 win over the Buffalo Bills.
Jamaal Charles gives fantasy owners 90 rushing yards
The Chiefs running back continued to be his team’s top offensive weapon. We break down the fantasy implications.

Charles’ 90 yards (on 17 carries) was his third-highest total of the season, but his six receiving yards (on six receptions) were his lowest total of the year. He was held without a touchdown for the second straight game, Charles’ only two scoreless games of the season.
Fantasy impact: The “first time under 100 yards” fact is an oddity, not an indictment; Charles is still one of the top two or three running backs in all of fantasy, and one of the most valuable overall players.
The Chiefs have their bye week up next, but have two games against the division rival Denver Broncos in the three weeks afterward. Charles, more involved in the Chiefs' passing game than anyone else on the team, won't suffer in what could be shootout games; he'll still be just as valuable as he normally is.
