In his first game against his former team, New York Jets running back Chris Ivory had a huge game Sunday, leading the Jets offense to a 26-20 victory of the New Orleans Saints.
Chris Ivory has big fantasy day against his former team
The Jets running back had a career day against the Saints. We break down the fantasy implications.

Ivory had 139 rushing yards on 18 carries and a touchdown. The 139 yards were the second-highest total of Ivory’s career, behind only a 158-yard game against Tampa Bay in Week 6 of his 2010 rookie season. Ivory’s touchdown came on a 3-yard run late in the second quarter.
Fantasy impact: Unlike two weeks ago, when Ivory managed 104 rushing yards, but did so on 34 carries for a yards-per-carry average of barely 3.0, the running back did his damage Sunday on only 18 carries, good for an average of 7.7. It was a far more impressive performance for a running back that didn’t have much else to hang his hat on this season.
Ivory is still not a huge factor in a passing game -- he has only four career receptions for 30 yards -- so he's not going to help anyone in any sort of PPR format. Regardless, if he keeps beating out teammate Bilal Powell for touches, he'll be worthy of flex plays, or more.
