Cleveland Browns running back Willis McGahee carried the ball 21 times for just 31 yards in a 24-18 win over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 9. McGahee also lost a fumble in the game.
Willis McGahee held in check, fantasy flop against Ravens
The Browns running back just wasn’t able to get in a groove in Week 9 against the Ravens. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: McGahee's performance against the Ravens has to be regarded as possibly the worst game of his entire career. He averaged just 1.5 yards per carry in the contest. Luckily for McGahee, quarterback Jason Campbell was able to move the football through the air and the Browns were able to prevail over the Ravens for the first time in 11 games.
McGahee is mostly a plug-and-play option in fantasy leagues, unless you are a fantasy owner that happens to be in a very deep league. McGahee is primarily a fill-in for the Browns as the team will surely look to draft, sign or trade for a younger running back in the off-season after the team dealt Trent Richardson to the Indianapolis Colts a few weeks ago.
The Browns are on their bye week in Week 10 so fantasy owners will have to look elsewhere to fill their running back spots.
