Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Marlon Brown caught five passes for 54 yards and a pair of touchdowns in a 24-18 loss to the Cleveland Browns in Week 9. Brown was the only Ravens receiver that was able to find the end zone in the game.
Marlon Brown proves good things come in pairs, posts pleasing fantasy day
The Ravens receiver put together a nice performance for his fantasy owners, grabbing a pair of touchdown passes. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Since teammate Jacoby Jones came back from an MCL sprain suffered against the Denver Broncos back in Week 1, coach John Harbaugh has been saying that he would see an increase in snaps and hinted at Jones getting more action than Brown in the passing game going forward.
Though that did look to be the case when Jones first returned, Sunday’s game against Cleveland proves that Brown still has fantasy value going forward. He is younger than Jones and has more upside.
Jones is also used by the Ravens in the return game. He typically seems to catch passes on shorter routes than Brown and there will be times when Jones is gassed because he’s on the field more than many of his teammates.
The Ravens face the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 10, and fantasy owners can bet that Torrey Smith will probably be monitored closely, which may open up another opportunity for Brown to post more big numbers.
