Roddy White works out Sunday, seems close to returning for fantasy owners
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White worked out before the team’s game on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

White is dealing with ankle and hamstring injuries, and has been all season. He sustained a high ankle sprain in the preseason and played through the injury, to the detriment of his stats. He did not allow the ankle any time to recover, instead focusing on his streak of consecutive games played. Then he injured the hamstring, and he had to be inactive.
It sounds like he’s nearing his legitimate return but time will tell if he’s truly healthy or just healthy enough to play up to the form he was at during the first few weeks. It will be interesting to see how he progresses at this point.
Fantasy Impact: White has been a dud for fantasy owners all season, and even if he returns in Week 10, he should not have the confidence of fantasy owners. Given that he’s chosen to play with an injury in the past, fantasy owners should wait to see him have a strong game before giving him a start. They’ve had to find a replacement thus far, so they should stick with that replacement for the time being.
