Chicago Bears tight end Martellus Bennett has not been the most consistent player this season, but he's eyeing a strong fantasy performance under the bright lights of Monday Night Football against the Green Bay Packers. Bennett had a poor outing his last game, catching just one pass for seven yards against the Washington Redskins.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 9: Martellus Bennett
Chicago Bears tight end Martellus Bennett could be a smart start on Monday against the Green Bay Packers.

That pass was a touchdown, however -- his first since Week 2. In total, he’s caught 32 passes for 356 yards and four touchdowns this season. He’s integrated into the Chicago offense well, even if he hasn’t put up the big numbers week-in and week-out.
But the Packers have a poor pass defense, one of the worst in the league. That pass defense looks better over the past couple weeks due to games against the Minnesota Vikings and Cleveland Browns, but that's more deceptive than anything else. Bennett could be in-line for a strong game against them.
Fantasy Impact: Bennett isn't a must-start tight end by any means, but with players like Vernon Davis and Julius Thomas on bye weeks, Bennett could be one of the better fill-in options this week. Obviously, it's Monday so the decision has already been made, but if fantasy owners went with Bennett for spot treatment, it could and should pay off nicely.
