Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers exited Monday night's matchup versus the Chicago Bears after the team's first drive.
Aaron Rodgers leaves Monday night’s game due to injury, fantasy owners hold collective breath
The Packers have already suffered the absence of several key players due to injury over the course of the season, and will now have to add the former NFL MVP to the list . We break down the fantasy implications.

Rodgers and company marched the length of the field before being sacked by Bears defensive end Shea McClellin on third down in the red zone. McClellin drove Rodgers hard into the ground, and cleanly, but Rodgers' was in visible discomfort after his non-throwing shoulder and collarbone area connected hard with the turf. It was later announced that Rodgers would not return to the game.
Fantasy Spin: There's no official word yet on how much more time Rodgers will miss, but should he do so, it could be a poisonous situation for everyone else on the Packers' offense. There are few, if any, quarterbacks in the league who can sustain drives and capitalize at the rate Rodgers does, and backup quarterback Seneca Wallace does not fit that bill.
It will be tough sledding for the likes of Jordy Nelson and James Jones in Rodgers' absence, but Eddie Lacy could see an already massive workload increase to take some of the weight off of Wallace's shoulders. But until then, no fantasy generalizations can be made going forward if the extent of Rodgers' injury is unknown.
