Chicago Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery continued his breakout season on Monday night, this time victimizing the Green Bay Packers.
Alshon Jeffery finds the end zone for fantasy owners vs. Packers
On Monday night, Alshon Jeffery provided more reason for his onlookers to believe his future is bright. We break down the fantasy implications.

Jeffery asserted his red-zone presence once again, high-pointing a ball in the back of the end zone in the third quarter for his third touchdown of the season. Quarterback Josh McCown lofted a pass that his 6’3 receiver plucked out of the air with ease, which is exactly what the Bears’ front office envisioned after drafting Jeffery in 2012.
Jeffery finished the evening with five catches for 60 yards and the touchdown.
Fantasy Spin: With Jay Cutler out of action, the production of secondary targets like Jeffery and Martellus Bennett was a concern. But Jeffery quickly put that to rest after totaling 165 receiving yards and a touchdown in nearly two full games where Cutler was absent.
But good news is still on the way, since Cutler is expected to return to action versus the Lions in Week 10, a team that Jeffery already totaled 107 yards and a touchdown against in Week 4. As a result, Jeffery can be comfortably started as a WR3 with WR2 upside.
