Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall did not let a backup quarterback hamper his production on Monday night versus the Green Bay Packers.
Brandon Marshall erupts for over 100 yards and a touchdown in prime time
The Bears’ top receiver lived up to his title on Monday night during a gutsy win over the Packers. We break down the fantasy implications.

However, Josh McCown hardly played like a backup quarterback for the second straight game, and fed Marshall the ball early and often, and the No. 1 receiver finished with seven catches for 107 yards and a score. Marshall and McCown's highlight of the night came in the first quarter when McCown hurled an accurate dart to Marshall in the perimeter of the end zone despite a collapsing pocket.
Fantasy Spin: Jay Cutler is expected to return to action on Sunday versus the Detroit Lions, but even if he doesn't, Marshall has not missed a beat with McCown under center. Marshall remains a consensus WR1 in all formats, and versus a Lions defense that has allowed an average of 80 yards to No. 1 receivers this season.
Through eight games, Marshall is now on pace for 106 catches, 1,294 yards and 12 touchdowns on the season, which would all but guarantee a spot in the top five fantasy point totals among wide receivers.
