San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree has been cleared to practice, and while there is no timetable on his return specifically, performing well in said practice could help him back into the lineup sooner rather than later, according to Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area.
Michael Crabtree cleared to practice, return could be valuable for late-season fantasy push
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree has been cleared to practice. We break down the fantasy implications.

Crabtree tore his right Achilles tendon in May and is on the physically unable to perform list. Strictly speaking, the timetable is three weeks, given that is how long the 49ers have to make the decision on whether or not to activate him to the 53-man roster. Currently, he is able to practice, but cannot play and does not count against the roster.
The team said back in October that Crabtree will be able to return in mid- to late-November. Obviously, it’s very unlikely that Crabtree play in Week 10 or anything along those lines, but it seems like everything else is fair game depending on how he performs in practice.
Fantasy Impact: Crabtree had his most productive season in 2012, catching 85 passes for 1,105 yards with nine touchdowns. The 49ers’ pass offense is extremely lacking this season, but Crabtree coming back would seemingly revitalize that instantly. When he does come back, he’s probably worth an immediate start and could be a valuable late-season factor for some owners, but his ability is extremely varied throughout fantasy leagues.
