After missing four games with a knee injury, Buffalo Bills quarterback E.J. Manuel will return to the starting role Sunday, said head coach Doug Marrone, the team's official Twitter account reported Thursday.
E.J. Manuel will return Sunday, but fantasy owners should wait
The rookie hasn’t played in more than a month, but will start Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Manuel takes over the starting role filled by Thaddeus Lewis and Jeff Tuel over the last month, when the Bills went 1-3 to bring their season record to 3-5. In his five starts before injury, Manuel threw for 985 passing yards, five touchdowns, and three interceptions. He added 25 rushes for 91 yards in those five games.
Fantasy impact: Manuel’s return comes not a moment too soon for a Bills team that has been in contention in two of the three losses it suffered while he was out. The rookie showed some promise early in the season.
That said, there's not significant upside to starting Manuel against the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday. He has potential, but also had four and six fantasy points in his last two starts; Manuel is averaging just under 12 fantasy points per start.
For fantasy owners who are without Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers this week, Manuel might be an appealing sleeper pick with his return, but there almost has to be better options out there.
