Oakland Raiders running back Darren McFadden sat out of practice Thursday with a hamstring injury, according to CSNCalifornia.com reporter Scott Bair. further cementing the likelihood that he will miss Sunday's game against the New York Giants. Assuming it's true that McFadden will miss Sunday, backup running back Rashad Jennings will likely get the bulk of the touches Sunday.
Darren McFadden out of practice; fantasy owners look to Rashad Jennings
The Raiders running back is unlikely to play in Week 10. We break down the fantasy implications.

In seven games this season, McFadden has 352 rushing yards and 85 receiving yards, with four total touchdowns. He Sunday’s game will be his second absence this season, and he’s been limited to five carries in two of his seven games. Jennings, meanwhile, has 242 rushing and 171 receiving yards all year, having appeared in every Raiders outing.
Fantasy impact: McFadden’s absence was part of the deal fantasy owners entered into when they drafted him, as a healthy McFadden is as rare as a unicorn. Jennings, who gained 176 total yards a week ago and scored his first touchdown, has plenty of potential as McFadden’s replacement. Against a Giants team that is poor against running backs -- is poor in all facets of defense, frankly -- Jennings could be a good sleeper play Sunday.
