Houston Texans running back Arian Foster missed his second straight day of practice on Thursday.
Arian Foster misses practice again, backup plans remain in place for fantasy owners
There has been no shortage of injuries to the Houston Texans’ backfield, and starting running back Arian Foster may have it the worst. We break down the fantasy implications.

Foster has played in a total of 10 snaps over the past two games combined due to a back injury. It’s only the latest of aliments that have slowed Foster’s production after dealing with a calf injury in the preseason and a hamstring injury afterward.
As a result, Ben Tate, who has four broken ribs, and newly signed Dennis Johnson have picked up the slack in the ground game with the Texans' feature-back ailing.
Fantasy Spin: With minimal playing time and practice, there's little reason to believe Foster is in any shape to suit up on Sunday versus an unforgiving Arizona Cardinals front seven. Should he do so, the matchup itself presents enough reason to bench Foster, who would offer no guarantee of resuming his usual workload.
The Cardinals have allowed just 3.5 yards per carry this season, which is third fewest in the NFL, and fantasy owners would be wise to avoid the Texans’ murky backfield situation entirely this week
