Fantasy football projections, Week 13: Falcons vs. Bills featuring Matt Ryan, Steven Jackson and C.J. Spiller

The Week 13 matchup between the Atlanta Falcons and the Buffalo Bills features two teams not going to the playoffs any time soon. We've got all the fantasy projections for you courtesy of numberFire.

This season has been a lost cause for the Falcons. Quarterback Matt Ryan has been inconsistent lately, Julio Jones and Roddy White have been plagued by injuries and even tight end Tony Gonzalez is not as dependable as usual. Ryan will look to bounce back against a Bills secondary that's improving and has a good pass rush supporting it.

Ryan is especially likely to be in tough spot on Sunday with the running game also struggling overall this season. Luckily Steven Jackson has improved his yardage total in each of the last three weeks. Last week against the New Orleans Saints, he managed to finish with 79 total yards and scored his first rushing touchdown of the season.

Quarterback E.J. Manuel has had his share of ups and downs this year, as you'd expect from any rookie quarterback. In the first month of the season, he seemed to keep the Bills in every game and give them a chance to win. Then he got hurt, missed a few games, and returned to play below-average football. He's talented no doubt, but still a few years away from maturing into anything close to a fantasy stud.

If the Bills are to top the Falcons in Toronto on Sunday, Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller will have to do the dirty work in the backfield. Neither back has topped 55 yards rushing in the last two weeks and they are truly in a time-share situation. Since Manuel is having trouble connecting with receivers lately, it's trickling down to both backs. Considering the Falcons' secondary is suspect, this week might be a good time to start either running back as the Bills will be able to get close to the goal line.
