Fantasy football projections, Week 13: Rams vs. 49ers featuring Benny Cunningham, Vernon Davis and Anquan Boldin
We break down the Week 13 matchup between the St. Louis Rams and the San Francisco 49ers.

St. Louis Rams
Running back Zac Stacy left last week's game with a concussion. Benny Cunningham handled the load from there. Even with both of them in the lineup over the last two weeks, Cunningham has averaged close to a whopping 10 yards per carry in those two games. Stacy has been cleared through the concussion protocol, making him the starting option. However, Cunningham has been a solid second option. If you are struggling with injuries, Cunningham is a decent long-shot option.
One player that’s finally arrived for the Rams who isn’t a running back is Tavon Austin. Austin has six touchdowns on the season and four of them have come in the last two games, including one on special teams and one rushing. That’s the true definition of versatility right there. Hopefully the Rams can keep finding ways to get him the ball in Week 13.
San Francisco 49ers
Quarterback Colin Kaepernick isn't exactly lighting it up of late. That's worked to the disadvantage of many of the team's receivers. One player that hasn't felt the affects of Kaepernick's inconsistency is tight end Vernon Davis. Davis has three touchdowns in his last four games and now leads the team in receiving scores with nine. He's among the best at his position no matter who is throwing the football.
Teammate Anquan Boldin on the other hand has struggled much of the year. That is until a matchup against the Washington Redskins' porous defense allowed him to total 94 yards and a pair of scores. He's been a perennial Pro Bowler for a long time but just hasn't found fantasy relevance with the exception of a big game here and there, particularly this season. It remains to be seen if Boldin can keep a good thing going against a good Rams defense.
The big news for the 49ers is the return of wide receiver Michael Crabtree. He has a chance to regain fantasy relevance, but for this first start, there is no reason to play him.
