The Redskins won’t have to be without their athletic “move” tight end for another week, as Jordan Reed has been cleared to play Sunday night. We break down the fantasy implications.

Reed sustained a concussion in Week 11's matchup versus the Philadelphia Eagles and was subsequently held out of game action the following week after not taking the practice field. Reed returned to practice for the Redskins on Wednesday and was limited throughout, but has passed concussion tests in time to suit up on Sunday night.
Fantasy Spin: This is a breath of fresh air for Reed’s fantasy owners, who know his availability well in advance of his team’s 8:30 p.m. kickoff. As a result, a backup plan at tight end won’t be needed in fantasy lineups and Reed can be comfortably penned-in as a TE1.
Prior to his concussion, Reed had averaged 80 receiving yards over his past four games and scored two touchdowns in that span. He gives a boost to a Redskins receiving game much in need of one, and could also be responsible for an uptick in production from both Pierre Garcon and Robert Griffin III this week.
