A week after suffering a concussion against the Chicago Bears, St. Louis Rams running back Zac Stacy is officially active for the team's 4:05 p.m. ET game at the San Francisco 49ers. Stacy will once again be the Rams' starter, with Benny Cunningham expected to be his backup, as happened a week ago.
Zac Stacy active for Rams; high relevance in fantasy
The Rams running back was a question mark coming off of a Week 12 injury, but he’ll play Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Stacy has 624 rushing yards and four touchdowns on 141 carries this year, adding 107 receiving yards and a touchdown on 16 catches. He had 97 yards from scrimmage and a score a week ago before leaving around halftime. In his absence, Cunningham had a big game as well, rushing for 109 yards and a score.
Fantasy impact: Stacy had played himself into pretty sure-fire starter status, averaging more than 16 points a game in his last five, even counting his abbreviated stint in Week 12.
While the 49ers’ defense is less generous to running backs than the sieve that is the Bears’ rush defense, an active Stacy is still basically a must-start across the league. Cunningham’s stock drops significantly; he is basically a must-bench in all but the deepest leagues.
