The Cowboys’ No. 1 receiver was not targeted as much as his talent or depth chart position indicates he should have been on Monday night. We break down the fantasy implications.

In a game plan that centered on running the football against a sieve-like Bears defense, Bryant remained an afterthought. He was targeted just four times throughout the game as the team attempted just 25 passes despite falling behind 42-14 at the start of the fourth quarter. Bryant cashed in with a touchdown on the team's opening drive, but finished with just two catches for a season-low 12 yards.

Even though the Cowboys had every reason to run the ball in the game’s early goings, it’s a mystery that they remained committed to the ground after falling behind by 28 in the fourth quarter, and Bryant’s numbers suffered because of it.
Fantasy owners can take solace in the fact that Bryant has a plus matchup next week versus the Green Bay Packers, but if his involvement mirrors that of Monday night's game, or his Nov. 10 contest versus the New Orleans Saints, his owners have every reason to worry. Despite that looming issue, Bryant's upside makes him a low-end WR1.
