Update: Peterson has been ruled out of Week 15.
Adrian Peterson questionable for Vikings, fantasy owners
Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is questionable for Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is listed as questionable for the team's Week 15 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. Peterson has a foot injury, and while he wants to play, the team could choose to sit him. Minnesota is not in the playoff race at this point, and risking further injury to Peterson would be foolish.
Peterson is still dealing with pain in his sprained foot, but he's no stranger to playing through pain or quick recoveries. The Vikings will likely make a decision on either Saturday or Sunday to determine whether or not Peterson plays. His backup, Toby Gerhart, is also questionable with a hamstring injury. Gerhart hasn't been all-that solid this season, regardless.
Fantasy Impact: Peterson is the best running back in the NFL, even if he’s had something of a down season to this point. That down season has Peterson carrying the ball 268 times for 1,221 yards and 10 touchdowns. He came up just short of breaking the NFL single-season record for rushing yards a season ago, which is why his 4.6 yards per-carry average is considered a negative.
Peterson has 211 yards against the Chicago Bears before sustaining his injury against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 14. He'll want to play, but at this point, a backup option should be considered (it should not be Gerhart by any means). See if anything is announced on Saturday.
