Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 15: Chris Ivory is too risky vs. Panthers
Chris Ivory has been productive for the Jets, but does the bad matchup mean fantasy owners should look elsewhere this week?

New York Jets running back Chris Ivory is one of the toughest backs in the NFL. He has been racking up yards after contact, and that's the main reason why the Jets gave up a fourth-round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft in a trade with the New Orleans Saints to get him. He was able to account for 76 rushing yards and a score in a win over the Oakland Raiders on Sunday.
The Jets will be hoping Ivory puts up a big game against their divisional rivals when the Jets travel to Carolina to face the Panthers.
Fantasy impact: This game looks like a disaster waiting to happen for the Jets. The Panthers are the second-toughest matchup for fantasy running backs and have given up over 100 rushing yards to running back units just once since Week 2. They have too much speed on defense; Luke Kuechly is arguably the best middle linebacker in the NFL. Plus, their pass rush should force tons of turnovers, so the Jets might not even score any TDs..
Ivory only has one decent game on the road this year. Outside of a 97-yard game at Buffalo, he’s never scored more than five fantasy points in any road game. There is really nothing to like about him here and he should be on most benches.
