Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 15: DeAngelo Williams has a bad matchup

The Carolina Panthers lost running back Jonathan Stewart to an MCL tear and he will miss the rest of the season. Before his injury, the former Oregon Duck had 16 touches against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 13, so he was certainly involved in the offense.

Without Stewart, the Panthers will have DeAngelo Williams and Mike Tolbert handle most of the work. Williams saw the lion's share of the work on Sunday Night Football against the New Orleans Saints, carrying the ball 13 times for 52 yards. Meanwhile, Mike Tolbert had just three carries and really just gets the ball in short-yardage situations.

Fantasy impact: If it was a better matchup, Williams could be a decent guy to use. However, the Panthers will play the New York Jets this week, a team that has been tremendous in stopping the run. They allow a league-best 3.1 yards per carry and only the Panthers have allowed less rushing yards on the year. Williams should definitely be owned, but he's a low-end flex this week.
