The Week 15 matchup between the Buffalo Bills and the Jacksonville Jaguars features a surprisingly red hot underdog. We've got all the fantasy projections for you courtesy of numberFire.
Buffalo Bills
After finding the end zone twice against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 13, Fred Jackson was held to just 12 yards on five carries against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 14. He and teammate C.J. Spiller have been splitting touches all year. Spiller however has struggled with his health more than Jackson. That, and more consistency from Jackson make Fred the guy to start against the Jags this week.
When quarterback E.J. Manuel is looking to throw the ball, there's no doubt he'll be targeting Stevie Johnson. Over the last three weeks, Johnson has been targeted 29 times. Those looks have translated into 13 catches, which is okay. The downside is that none of them have resulted in touchdowns. Johnson only has three touchdowns on the season. Perhaps a game against the Jaguars will be just what the doctor ordered for his fantasy owners.
Jacksonville Jaguars
By all accounts, the Jaguars were pegged to be the worst team in football this year. Though they appeared just that way to start the season, they are now somehow one of the hottest teams in the NFL with three straight wins. Quarterback Chad Henne only has eight touchdown passes all year, but half of those have come in the last two games. He might be a super sleeper for fantasy owners needing a last-minute quarterback option.
When Henne is throwing, he'll be looking to connect with Ace Sanders. Cecil Shorts (groin) and Maurice Jones-Drew (hamstring) are both questionable this week, so Sanders might be the number one option. Though he doesn't have a touchdown this year, Sanders has been targeted 32 times in the last four games. He'll produce steadily if he's the default number one receiver.
