Fantasy football projections, Week 15: Redskins vs. Falcons featuring Pierre Garcon, Matt Ryan and Roddy White

The Week 15 matchup between the Washington Redskins and the Atlanta Falcons should see plenty of offensive fireworks. We've got all the fantasy projections for you courtesy of numberFire.

Washington Redskins

Coach Mike Shanahan has come under fire recently for benching quarterback Robert Griffin III for what seems to be the rest of the season. For fantasy owners, it means Kirk Cousins is worth a look this week. He did well filling in for Griffin at times last year and the Atlanta Falcons give up a lot of fantasy points through the air. The only thing working against Cousins is that he hasn't started a game this season, so his timing might be off.

If he is on his game, Cousins will likely be connecting with receiver Pierre Garcon frequently. Reports indicate tight end Jordan Reed (concussion) will sit out the rest of the season. That leaves Garcon as the undeniable go-to guy in the Redskins' passing game. Fantasy owners can only hope that means big totals for Garcon this week.

Atlanta Falcons

It’s been an off year for just about every player on the Falcons. That might explain why the team has lost six of its last seven games. Quarterback Matt Ryan has thrown more than two touchdowns in a game just once this season, and there is a good chance he’ll reach a new career high in interceptions before the season is over. He has thrown 13 picks with three games left in the year. His career high is 14.

Wide receiver Roddy White has had an equally rough year. A lot of his struggles can be attributed to his own injury issues and the fact his sidekick Julio Jones (ankle) was ruled out for the season earlier this year. The good news for White owners is that he has 18 catches in the last two weeks and seems poised to finish the year strong. He should be able to outrun the Redskins' secondary unit for a solid fantasy effort this week.
