Willis McGahee injury: Browns RB out for fantasy owners
Cleveland Browns running back Willis McGahee is out for Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears. We break down the fantasy implications.

Before the injury, McGahee had 14 carries for 33 yards. He hasn't been very effective this season, with only small bursts of strong play. On the season, he has 138 carries for 377 yards and two touchdowns. He's taken a lot of the load since the Browns traded Trent Richardson, but the running game as a whole has been ineffective.
Fantasy Impact: McGahee only has upside when he’s the primary back against a poor run defense, and that’s not the case here. He’s not going to play, but at this point, he shouldn’t even be a fantasy option. Fantasy owners can safely release him and move on, looking for better options. If you’re reading this and it matters to you: great, you’re still playing meaningful fantasy football. But McGahee won’t be active in this game and might miss the rest of the season.
