Minnesota Vikings running back Toby Gerhart (hamstring) is listed as questionable for the team's Week 15 game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Gerhart sat out practice on Thursday and was limited on Friday. The Vikings promoted running back Joe Banyard off the practice squad, which is a good sign Gerhart will not play.
Toby Gerhart injury update: RB not expected to play for fantasy owners
The Vikings running back is listed as questionable and could miss Week 15. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Any value that Gerhart may have depends on Adrian Peterson's status. The questionable Peterson (foot) also participated in practice on Friday and appears to have a realistic shot at starting on Sunday. In that case, Gerhart would be relegated to his usual back up duties. If Peterson sits and Gerhart is active, he would be in line for a strong workload. In his small 2013 sampling size, Gerhart has rushed 36 times for 283 yards (7.9 YPC) and two touchdowns. He looked good last week against the Baltimore Ravens, rushing 15 times for 89 yards and a touchdown and breaking loose on several carries.
Gerhart will be taking on the Eagles and their middle-of-the-pack run defense. Assuming AP is out and Gerhart starts, he should be in line to see 15-20 carries. If that plays out, Gerhart would be a low-end RB2. Owners need to continue to monitor the situation closely. Matt Asiata would start if both Peterson and Gerhart are inactive.
