Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill has been one of the more underrated fantasy quarterbacks of the season and especially in recent weeks. While he still has a ways to go before he's an elite fantasy quarterback, the former first-round pick has quietly turned in a solid sophomore campaign. Tannehill has passed for 3,315 yards at 62 percent completion rate with 20 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 15: Ryan Tannehill is a fine QB2 play
The Dolphins quarterback seems to have settled in a groove in recent weeks. Can he keep up the improved play?

He has battled through some struggles but has found his stride in recent weeks. Over the last six weeks, Tannehill has completed 65 percent of his passes with nine touchdowns and five interceptions. While that's not quite difference-making fantasy production, he is showing continued improvement from his rookie season. His chemistry with wide receiver $60 million Mike Wallace has also improved which has helped in his development.
Fantasy Impact: Tannehill will take on the Patriots and their middle of the pack pass defense. Owners have every reason to believe that Tannehill will continue his modest production. With the Dolphins fighting for a wildcard spot in the playoffs, they will likely need to put up a decent amount of points to beat out the Patriots, even without Rob Gronkowski. He's a mid-range QB2 with moderate upside.
