Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Cecil Shorts is not expected to play on Sunday due to a groin injury, according to a report by ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Cecil Shorts to expected to sit for Jaguars, fantasy owners
The Jaguars will be without their No. 1 wide receiver on Sunday, per reports. We break down the fantasy implications.

Shorts got a limited session of practice in on Friday, but has been hampered by the injury for a number of weeks. Despite that, Shorts played onward, often being limited in practices along the way. With the Jaguars out of contention, it would do well for them in the long run to rest a receiver who is very much in their future plans.
Fantasy Spin: For fantasy owners, this will not sit well with the playoffs in full swing, and it’s reasonable to think that the Jaguars could shelve Shorts for the rest of the season if his health doesn’t make a dramatic improvement.
Until then, expect the Jaguars to go with a committee approach in the receiving game, with Chad Henne spreading the all around without favoritism. Mike Brown will assume the No. 1 spot on the depth chart versus a shoddy Buffalo Bills secondary, but would serve as nothing more than a desperation flex play for Week 15.
