In his first start of the season, Kirk Cousins amassed gaudy totals in yards and touchdowns, but also turnovers. We break down the fantasy implications.

Cousins finished the first half with 248 yards and a pair of touchdown passes, but did not add much to his totals after the halftime gun. In the first half, Cousins made his presence known with a 62-yard bomb to Aldrick Robinson and a 53-yard touchdown strike to Pierre Garcon.
In the second half, Cousins threw two interceptions, but led a touchdown drive with the Redskins down by 7 in the final two minutes. However, he had his attempt on a two-point conversion batted away. Despite falling short, Cousins finished the game with 381 yards, three touchdowns, two interceptions and a lost fumble.
Fantasy Spin: Despite the turnovers, fantasy owners will absolutely take this performance if they started Cousins since doing so would have been an act of desperation. Though it's well-documented that his impressive line occurred versus a porous defense, it is worth noting that that will be the case with every defense the Redskins face the rest of the season. Next are the Dallas Cowboys, who entered Week 15 allowing the most passing yards and fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks, making Cousins an attractive QB2 once again.
