New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman had his fourth straight big game Sunday. He topped 100 yards for the fourth time on the season and scored a touchdown in the team's 24-20 loss to the Miami Dolphins.
Julian Edelman has another big game for Patriots, fantasy owners
The wide receiver has become the Patriots’ top option in recent weeks. We break down the fantasy implications.

Edelman tied a season high with 13 catches for a season-high 139 yards and a score Sunday, with his touchdown briefly putting the Patriots ahead 20-17 late in the fourth quarter. Both numbers are also career bests for the wide receiver, who spent the first several years of his career low on the team’s depth chart.
Fantasy impact: It’s been an incredible pair of in-season turnarounds for Edelman. He averaged about 80 yards and 10 fantasy points in Weeks 1-4 before dropping to 25 and 2.5 in Weeks 5-11. It’s been a huge last four weeks though, with the receiver averaging 103.5 yards and 16.5 fantasy points since Week 11. He’s become quarterback Tom Brady’s top target among the receivers, and has gone from an option to be dropped to a veritable must-start down the stretch.
